Ping iWi Craz-E Putter Review

Nov 9th, 2009 by admin

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Ping iWi Craze-E putter offers the performance that the company is known for, as well as the opportunity for nonstop tinkering that golfers love. The iWi Craze-E is a mallet putter, with the clubhead weighing a solid 370 grams. It has a stainless steel body, but there’s also a two-piece stainless steel face insert with an elastomer backing that is designed to offer the performance of steel with a softer feel. A couple of tries on the practice green makes it clear that the insert works; it’s a very responsive club with incredible control.

All of the Ping iWi putters provide heavy customization. The iWi stands for interchangeable weight inserts, and the Ping iWi Craze-E putter offers as many as nine different weight combinations if the optional weight kit is purchased. Any setup will maintain the club’s high MOI, since the weights are concentrated on the heel and toe of the iWi Craze-E, but adding the additional weight may help some golfers keep the clubface square at impact.

Lining up putts is easy as well, thanks to the raised Optigraphic alignment system. Its two yellow lines and white alignment strip help golfers keep putts on target.
